How we handle your information

Who we are

Fairlet Technologies Ltd runs fairlethomes.co.uk — a platform connecting landlords, agencies and local authorities in the UK social housing sector. We're registered in England and Wales (company no. 16849220) at 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. For anything privacy-related, email us at info@fairlethomes.co.uk.

What we collect

When you fill in our sign-up form, we receive what you choose to tell us: your name, email address, phone number, and details about your property, agency or authority — things like postcode, property type, and what you're looking for.

That's the only way this site collects personal information. There's no account system, no analytics script watching what you click, and we don't set cookies. Like every website, our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps short-lived technical logs — including IP addresses — to keep the site running and secure, and our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google's servers see your IP address when the page loads.

What we do with it

We read your enquiry and get back to you — to answer a question, book a demo, or start onboarding. In legal terms, we process your details because you've asked us to take steps towards working together (and where that doesn't strictly apply, because we have a legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us).

We won't add you to a marketing list you didn't ask for, and we will never sell your information to anyone.

Where it goes

A few trusted services handle your enquiry on our behalf, and only so we can receive and respond to it:

• Resend delivers your enquiry to our inbox as an email.
• Zoho Mail hosts that inbox.
• Supabase stores a copy in our secure database so enquiries don't get lost.
• Vercel hosts the website and the form's back end.

Each of these processes data under their own contractual safeguards. Nobody else gets your details unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries while there's a live conversation or a realistic chance we'll work together. We periodically clear out old leads that didn't go anywhere. If you'd rather not wait, ask and we'll delete yours straight away.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@fairlethomes.co.uk and we'll sort it out — no forms, no fuss.

If you think we've handled your data badly and we haven't put it right, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We'd appreciate the chance to fix it first.

Changes to this page

If we start collecting or using data differently — say, when the full product launches — we'll update this page and change the date at the top. We won't quietly move the goalposts.
